Rams Track Club was reorganized in March 2011 with a new president and board of directors. Formally known as the Roselle Rams Youth Track Club. The organization’s membership consists of athletes, track team parents/guardians, and coaches. The RAMS Track Program is supported by a volunteer Parent Association that is vital to its success.
The purpose is to promote participation in track and field sports through the organization, operation, and maintenance of a track and field program based in the town of Roselle. To promote and instill trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship, and fellowship among all players, coaches, and parents. To educate the youth, parents, and the general public concerning the sport of track and field and the value of the sport to them.
Track and Field is one of the oldest sports in the world. Organized Track & Field in the United States has existed since the 1800’s. Roselle RAMS Track Program is a track club for male and female athletes ages 7 - 15. Our athletes will train three days each week and compete in local, regional, and national track and field
competitions.
Our track and field program will participate under the USA Track & Field, New Jersey Striders Track Club. The program consists of an Outdoor Season, which begins in late March and continues through June; athletes who meet specific qualifications for post-outdoor season competitive meets may continue through August.
